Dr. Kulkarni completed his MBBS from Nagpur University and later moved to Mumbai, where he worked at MGM Hospital, Parel. He went on to complete his Diploma in Orthopaedics followed by a Master’s degree in Orthopaedics from the National Board of Examinations. To further enhance his international exposure, he moved to the Maldives, where he worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for five years.

During his international career, Dr. Kulkarni was selected for the prestigious Advanced Specialist Diploma in Orthopaedics (AFSA) in France. He completed this advanced training under the mentorship of Dr. Christian Morin and gained valuable experience while working for one year at the renowned Calot Institute. After returning to India in 2012, he briefly served as an Honorary Consultant at YCM Hospital before joining Aditya Birla Hospital, where he has been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2013.

With clinical experience spanning over two decades since 2003, Dr. Shrirang Kulkarni is widely respected for his strong clinical judgment and comprehensive orthopedic knowledge. He has a special interest in Pediatric Orthopaedics, recognizing that children require specialized care and attention, as they are not simply miniature adults. Pediatric fractures are increasingly common and demand experience and precision—skills he refined during his advanced training in France.

His expertise includes the management of congenital and developmental conditions such as clubfoot, developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), Perthes disease, spinal deformities, brachial plexus injuries, cerebral palsy, limb deformities, bone infections, and other complex pediatric orthopedic conditions.
